Lorne Hogan, Carpenter on HGTV's Divine Design
Yes, I know. How gay, right? Yes, I'm an HGTV addict. I used to be a FoodTV addict, and now, I have parlayed that into HGTV. Divine Design is by far my favorite show on the channel, too. Anyway, I don't get to see him very often because he's only on the brand new episodes, and Candice still uses Paul most often. But Hot Damn! He's a hot piece as Dlisted would say.
Bailey Chase, Saving Grace
I take that back. This one is classically handsome. Anyone who remembers the season of Buffy when she dated Riley, who was the leader of the A&F Army (as I liked to call them), well, then they'll remember Bailey. He was a hot young guy, but man, he's aged really, really well. He's dressed up like some butch cowboy (named Butch, natch) most of the time, and well, he just oozes sex.
Fred Weller, In Plain Sight
Fred is in the non-traditional category. Yes he's cute, but he's not like model gorgous. However, his character on In Plain Sight (Marshall, who's a US Marshall, ugh) is basically one of a philospophy major turned cop, who is often spouting off about everything from Kannt to Ayn Rand. In otherwords, nerd porn for this fallen Political Science major.
Jeffery Donovan, Burn Notice
Another non-traditional, but oh my god, he's so damn sexy as former superspy, Michael Weston, he just makes the show and all his heroics seem so easy. Plus his chemistry with:
Gabrielle Anwar, Burn Notice
...is just so potent. And yes, I'm including a girl here, because I have a bit of a lesbian crush on her. I don't know what it is about crazy chicks with guns (re: Angelina Jolie), but she is pretty damn amazing in this show, though I'd really like to give her a sandwich.
And finally:
Greg Berlanti, Creative Mind & Super Producer
Just to make me feel better about objectifying the beefcake in front of the camera, I'm going to talk about one of the best producers working today, who also happens to be hot and gay (yippee!). Greg Berlanti was previously known as the creator of Everwood on the WB, which I never saw but heard a lot about. However, I know him best as the producer who came in and made Brothers & Sisters appointment television, and then he went on to make Dirty Sexy Money, which I can't wait for it to come back in the fall, and Eli Stone, which was merely just good but didn't hold my attention. Hmmm, I just read that he directed and wrote The Broken Hearts Club, that everyone has told me I should see, but since I tend to avoid most gay movies like the plague, I haven't seen. I may just have to rent it now.
