Okay, maybe the calm after the storm and/or the calm before the next one...
Friday was a very rough and stormy night, and I was hoping to not repeat the performance of the last time 60 mile per hour straight line winds came shooting through Indy. When that happened, I felt my very old, third story apartment lurch to the side, with one of the most sickening feelings I have ever personally felt. It was all I could do to grab the cat and run down to the laundry room. Thankfully, the worst stuff missed the downtown Indy area, but it was still pretty scary.
Even though I was practically ready to head out when the storms hit, I was pretty happy that I didn't go out on Friday - though I more than made up for it on Saturday and Sunday, with a party on each and going out after wards, too.
La La La - I don't have a problem - La La La
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much time I will have to post over the next couple of days. All of my deadlines got drastically moved up this month, and I am going to have to kick some ass over the next couple of days, if I am going to get things done. It will be nice to have all of that crap out of the way, especially because I'm going to be all Pride all the time come next week, but I kinda wish it was on my own terms.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
