Well, yesterday became an impromptu *cough* sick day or let's just call it a mental health day. I really can't say that I feel badly about it because if something terrible had gone wrong, I do live only a block from work, but I just need to make sure I do not make a habit of that. The good thing is that my two pseudo-bosses were out, too. So, it is not like they were coming and looking for me. After the crazy busy weekend, I enjoyed the day off, though I slept so much I actually had a headache. Yes, I know you are crying a river for me.
I am happy to say that I did not succumb to the urges to eat terrible food. I certainly did enough of that over the weekend, and even though I did decide to make some pancakes, I threw in a scoop of protein powder and didn't put any butter on them. So, while it wasn't exactly part of my diet, it wasn't a total gut busting loss.
Since I pretty much just caught up on Tivo and watched other mundane daytime shows, I really do not have a lot to report today. I was certainly happy that even though I do not watch Dancing With The Stars all that much, I was able to witness Marie Osmand pass out dead on the dance floor (she's okay). I joked to Blanche that I was going to change my Halloween costume to Passed Out Marie. Too bad I don't do drag!
Anywhoo, since this is so short, I have some videos that I discovered yesterday. They play off some of the more annoying conventions in Hollywood trailers -- specifically, when a studio completely misrepresents a movie. (Since some of my friends cannot watch YouTube at work, I have tried to find an alternative. Unfortunately, there is a short advertisement before the movie starts)
Must Love Jaws
Glen & Gary and Glen & Ross
(This one is NOT safe for work due to language)
10 Things I Hate About Commandments
(Safe for work except for one explative at the end)
