Since [Cherry] threw down the gauntlet on weekly features, this will be the first time in a very long time that I've actually done something twice in a row.
For the latest installment of Tuesday Morning Music Club, I am going with some ubergayness: Kristine W (Circle City IN Pride headliner), Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Cher, and Madonna.
Kristine W - I'll Be Your Light (Jack Eliot & Mac Quayle Remix)
Donna Summer - The Queen is Back (NEW song from the Diva)
Tina Turner (okay..and Ike, since he died this year) - Proud Mary
Cher - All Or Nothing
Madonna - Frozen

Tuesday, June 3rd - Tuesday Morning Music Club
As I shake off the "oh so serious" aura this blog took during the primary season, I am going to try to get back to regularly scheduled features that will be hilariously irregular (re: Daily Demotivators, Beefcake of the Week, etc). So, I bring you Tuesday Morning Music Club.
Trying to define my musical tastes is pretty damn difficult. I suppose the only real common thread is that I tend to only like female singers, which may or may not be a gay thing, but it also drastically limits my ability to karaoke, because I have a deep, deep voice (Praise Cher, she has a deep voice and no range). With that thread out of the way, I give you just a brief glance at the women I do listen to: Madonna, Audra McDonald, Cassandra Wilson, PJ Harvey, Garbage (yay, Shirley), Tina Turner, Cher, Bjork, Janet, Mary J Blige, Goldfrapp, Poe, Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, etc, etc, etc. To say my taste is all over the map is to really underestimate maps....
Anyway, recently, I have been delving back into dance music, mainly because Romeo/Halle has me looking for songs for him/her to perform, and my current obsession, coincidentally, came down to the work of a single, European DJ, Fedde La Grand, who just so happens to be hot as HELL! (Pictures at the End of the Post) I know both of these might not be new to the someone really into electronica, but they are new to me. And just to pat myself on the back, look at me coding an embedded MP3 player!
Ida Corr Vs. Fedde La Grand - Let Me Think About It
A Video For the Extended Mix (Fedde is in this towards the end):
Camille Jones - The Creeps (Fedde La Grand Radio Edit)
A Video (though I have seen better):
Hot Fedde:
