Tuesday, January 29 - Workout Week #3

I am now in week 4 of a 12 week program, and I have to say I am quite happy with the results so far. I have not started to drop the weight at a good enough clip, but seeing as I got to this point over the course of 2007, I really need to reel in my expectations. The good news is my body is finally working itself back into shape. My chest and arms are regaining the definition that I had lost, and thusly, my clothes are fitting more in the manner in which I had grown accustomed.

This week (as soon as they arrive from Bodybuilding.com), I will be going full bore onto supplements for the first time in my life. It is a weight loss stack that Bodybuilding detailed, and I will talk about it more in a future blog. However, I've quickly realized that my body is significantly different at 32 (almost 33) than it was at 28, when I started working with a personal trainer. So, maybe I need to supplement some of the nutrients that I am no longer creating internally.

Anyway, here is my workout for Week #3, it is subtly different mostly in regards to me adding different sets and adding weight. The first day was significantly changed just by the act of moving Dips up from the last workout before abs to the first workout. The main reason for that was because by the time I was getting to them my bod was pretty wasted. It certainly affected the number of reps in the following exercises, but I'm sure I will recover in a week or two.
