It's been over a year and half since I last blogged, and I really cannot give a great reason why I stopped. With the advent of Facebook, or rather my becoming obsessive about it, the urge to do a daily mind dump into a blog was completely circumvented by the stream of consciousness spewing of a status update. In the height of my blogging, I would really compartmentalize things in my brain so that I would have something to blog about the next day, or when I came across something like a funny video or picture, I would save it into a "blog" folder on my desktop, but with Facebook, I'm able to click it onto my wall in .2 seconds. So, why bother with a blog, right?
What brings me back? I'm not totally sure. I suppose subconsciously I have things to say, and I'm not getting a great chance to say them. I tend to not say anything on Facebook unless it is sarcastic or funny (or I'm drunk...which is a bad on many levels). Also, I just started reading Tina Fey's BossyPants, and I really wish I could write like that. Hmmmm....it's all coming together now.
Anyway, here I am. I'm possibly back in the saddle, or this could totally be a product of extreme boredom at work. I actually really did miss this a bit. So, we shall see where it goes....
