Things have been busy around here since I got back from Chicago, and it has resulted in me posting every other day, which really isn't too bad, though sometimes I feel like I'm neglecting my blog child. Ah well. I imagine a blog ebbs and flows like everything else, and I've really been writing almost every week day for over a year.
Anyway...
Debauchery -
As I alluded to on my Tuesday post, I met a pretty hot guy in Chicago on Sunday night, and it was one of those things that just don't seem to happen in Indy. I mean, I've certainly had attractive guys hit on me before, but this guy was seriously hot on many different levels -- best of all, he was pretty built, which is nice because muscle marys seem to only attract other muscle marys. Of course, even though I am a bit off my game (which frankly, I need to get back on before winter, otherwise, I'm going to be a certifiable fat ass), I was never anything close to a ripped stud. Sure, I had pretty good definition, but it was never that solid, bounce a quarter off of that you see in Men's Fitness, which is pretty much what this guy was, and the fact that he was totally into me in my currently thicker state, was a major ego boost for someone who has been struggling with clothes fitting for most of the year, and before you think this was some sort of alcohol enhanced affair, I just want to point out that I am still communicating with him, even though he's in Minnesota and the chances of us actually seeing each other again are pretty slim.
I met him whilst walking around the bar, and we just kind of talked for a minute and that was it. Then I saw him across the bar a bit later, and I went over and talked to him some more. The third time it was like the world melted away and we just started kissing. After that, I pretty much hung out with him and his friend the rest of the night, and we would walk a bit around Sidetracks and then make human spectacles of ourselves making out. I know a lot of people get annoyed with PDA's, but I've never really had a problem with it if it is someone I'm into. I think for the most part, the people who complain about it are probably just jealous they're not involved. :)
The funniest part of the evening was our feeble attempts to find some "alone space." It was very much like the movie Trick. We both couldn't host because we were either staying at or with friends, and that just made the whole process pretty difficult. For 2 seconds he tried to convince me to go Steamworks, and ya know what, even I have limits. Maybe I'm a romantic, but I don't think it is a good tidbit that when you tell the grand kids about when you met their grandfather, it involved a trip to the bath house. Just a thought...
We ended up sitting at Pie Hole Pizza (god I love that name) and talking with a straight couple and their sister until the wee hours of the morning. He actually ended up falling asleep/passing out, and I was there to support his neck so he didn't snap it off, which lead one of the girls commenting on how I am such BF material. LOL...now dammit, why can't I get this sort of ego stroking in Indy!?!?
Anyway, as it turns out, he's a pretty great guy to, with a real job! It kinda sucks that he does live 9 hours away, but who knows, I'm certainly not finding anything worthwhile on the dating front in Indy. Maybe it is time to cast the net a little wider.
Tonight some of us are going to the Indiana State Fair for some deep fried goodness. If it doesn't rain, I'll try to have some pictures tomorrow.

I know what you mean about pda's but if I'm really into the guy and he is into me I don't give a flyin' flip about what anyone else cares. And usually the comments are from jealous queens.
The bath house scenario can be tricky (pun intended) because my luck would be I would lose him to someone else who was there.
He sounds like a hotty! Sending you a High Five from the Bayou City.
P.S. Debauchery is one of my favorite words and when Julia Sugarbaker used it in a sentence I screamed.
I have seen every form of debauchery allowed under Napoleanic code.
I love you, Timmy :-)
