I think this has been the first time since I started blogging that I have gone two consecutive weekdays without a post, but between being majorly busy with Hillary and Pride stuff and with Maestro being on Spring Break and all of us going out to make up for the past months of him not being able to, I'm about ready to collapse!
I have some big things brewing. Romeo, Blanche, and I are taking part in the committee that is planning the all ages skating party that will be one of the initial festivities for our Circle City IN Pride celebration in June. Yea, it is kind of dorky, but we like the kitsch. Plus, it is an opportunity for the whole community to come together in a non-alcoholic environment. How often does that happen? Last year was the first year for it, and we had a lot of fun. So, we decided to see what we can do this year to make it more successful. To that end, I thought it would be a good idea to partner with the Naptown Roller Girls, which I've blogged about before and who happens to be a very gay friendly organization. They were certainly up for it, and we're going to try to see if we can get a team of Bag Ladies together to do a mock bout with them. Drag Queens Vs. Butch Roller Girls! It should be hilarious! I'll write more about that as we progress into the planning stages.
Blanche also had the idea of organizing an Out for Hillary event based around watching the Pennsylvania debate on Wednesday, April 16th. We've gotten approval to have it at Downtown Olly's, and now we're just trying to get some posters and other stuff together to have a successful event. We're working with the campaign to see if we can get posters and other paraphanelia, and hopefully, we will be able to gain access to some of their other resources to attract people to the event. There is just four weeks until the primary. So, I'm hoping to get involved more in the process. I want to see Hillary beat Barack in Indiana, and I'm going to do what I can to make that happen.
That's all for now. I am still planning on doing another Adventures in Hillaryland post, but on top of all the above mentioned stuff, it's also monthly and quarterly reporting time at work. So, my small bouts of free time to write are fewer and fewer. Here's to hopin'!

Hey. Ask the campaign if Robert Gant will make an appearance at your event. He showed up at Guava Lamp (gay bar) with Gavin Newsom for a Stonewall Democrats for Hillary event. A couple of days later he was in Dallas at JR's (gay bar) with Chelsea doing a Hillary event. Ya never know.
That's a great idea, but..
Are you stalking him, Timmy? You seem to know a lot about his schedule ;)
LOL if I were a good stalker I would have known that he was at Guava Lamp (less than 2 miles from me). I found out about both of his appearances AFTER the fact. I'm going to have to turn in my Stalker Membership Card. :-(
I wanna roller skate!! I can make the roller mix for you.
