Tuesday, January 8, 2008 - Tuesday Tauntings

As you will see from my Monday graph, yesterday was a bit of a caloric challenge for me, and it really had nothing to do with a litany of bad stuff that I consumed. It had everything to do with the fact that I went to the gym before work, and that completely threw my eating schedule out of whack. On a normal day, I have two protein shakes - one in the morning and one post-workout, but yesterday, I did both of them in the morning (pre and post-gym), which meant that by the time 5:00 rolled around, my body was ready for some nourishment, which I wasn't ready to give it in the form of dinner. I ate some yogurt, which jacks up my carbs a bit, and then when I did have dinner, I felt the 4oz piece of salmon (high calorie, but good calorie) wasn't going to be enough, which lead to me tossing on 4oz of chicken (yes, I tossed the chicken...).

So, anyway, I broke 2000 calories yesterday, but I'm not that worried about it. It is always good to change up a routine, and it wasn't like I ate a candy bar.


Now, today, I am being taunted by quesodillas in the lunchroom. God, I would love to have some of those greasy, ooey gooey, cheesy, chickeny goodness, but NO! I am going to resist. I did succumb to croutons though. Hey, I ain't perfect.
