If you've not been following movies for the past 6 months or so, then you're probably not aware of Cloverfield, which is a new creation by JJ Abrams who created Alias, Lost, and (oddly) Felicity. No one is really sure what it is yet, but Abrams has done a masterful job with getting the Internets all atwitter with speculation, with everything from viral videos to red herrings like Slusho frozen drinks. Just do a search...it's freaky, but anyone who is a follower of Lost will not be surprised.
Abrams is pretty adamant that it is NOT Godzilla, but it certainly looks like it is of the giant monster genre, mixed in with Blair Witch style cinematography (get the Dramamine). Anyway, they're throwing a contest with their widget, and the more people who watch the more likely I am of winning a free screening. :)
