Yesterday was not a fun day at work. I could not focus on getting the work done that I needed to get done, and I am really starting to get the feeling that deadlines are this giant guillotine that is going to chop me to bits. I've already decided that I'll have to come in on Sunday to work, which will be great in the respect that I won't get weird calls from people. Ahhh...the reason I come in at 6:30am, too. :)

Anyway, I didn't get home until 5:30, which is really late for me, and I was feeling tired...so I skipped the gym...AGAIN! If I hadn't weighed myself that morning to the lowest I've been in well over a year and half, I might have actually felt really bad. Yay! :) I do realize most of that "lose" was the dehydration after a drunken binge, but frankly, it is a victory. :)

I remembered that I had to take a Nintendo Wii disk back to Blockbuster. It is a game called Brain Age, and wow, it made me feel stupid. Who knew that at 32 I wouldn't be able to match colored arrows in a wack-a-mole game? On top of that, you have this penis looking thing taunting you and giving you your grade. I started with a C, then got a C++ (fucker!), and then the little penis finally gave me a B--. Feeling like I defeated Hitler, I was ready to take that game back. Oddly, one of the things distracting me yesterday was a Nintendo press conference at the E3 video game exhibition. I've always been a gamer nerd, even though I've never really played all that much. I've been fascinated by how child-like the companies act, which is actually pretty interesting and entertaining. The Nintendo Wii is my type of console because even though I like games like Zelda, I just do not have the time to play something like that straight through. As it stands now, it has been a month since I've cracked open Zelda, and I couldn't even tell you where I am in the game. Which means, it is time to CHEAT! :) Anyway, most of the Wii games allow you to sit down (or stand up really) and play for a bit, and then be done with it. That is perfect for me, and yesterday, Nintendo introduced the Wii Fit, which I think is going to fly off the shelves along with the system. It is basically this balance board that will also function as a scale and body mass checker, and it will be able to sense if you have balance issues and stuff like that. It is also game related that you can use it for a whole host of workout functions. This will be certainly up a FitnessNerd's alley! I am looking forward to it.

Back to yesterday, I took the video back, and then I stopped at ghetto Super Kmart on the way back. The one problem with downtown Indy life is the lack of a good grocery/super store. The one that we do have is a bit overpriced because, well, it is the only one downtown. So, I needed to pick up some things (TP...yes, we all use it), and I ended up buying....Zestie French Fries! Wow, this diet is going well...ugh.

As for rest of last night, I literally did nothing other than catch up on Tivo'd shows (Big Brother 8, Days of Our Lives Tuesday, and Burn Notice). I really wish there was a button at home that could open a trapdoor in the Big Brother house and swallow the people I hate (though not Mike, pictured). Days is getting really good, much to my chagrin. I just don't have time for a 5 time a week show, but the new writer is really doing a great job with the material. Burn Notice was snarky and great, and I am looking forward to the rest of the episodes this summer. The lead is kind of sexy, though not really that cute. Plus, he looks like he could knock me down...ya know. :)

Time to start the reporting day! I have two meetings today, which is really going to hamper me, once again, but at least one of them is one I am truly interested in.

Mike from US Big Brother. Wow. Have you seen the UK version? It really is the most unattractive bunch of people and has put me off watching. Cause let's face it, we don't watch BB for the stimulating conversation.

You just wait, London Preppy, my boy. I will put a picture of Nick up there tomorrow. He's right up your gym rat ally, despite a pretty terrible hair cut. Plus, on the live feeds, he is totally teasing being bisexual. He talked about giving a guy a blow job once AND he has a top 5 guys he would sleep with. He's totally teasing the gay guys in the house (and me), too :)
