I'm sorry about not being able to post yesterday. One of the reports I was working on blew up in my face. They basically changed the format AND asked for data we don't even track. I was so not a happy camper.
Anyway, I'm going to try to cover both Tuesday and Wednesday without writing a biblical liturgy. Tuesday was pretty eventful. I left work a bit early to get to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles to title and renew my plates for my new car. The BMV has had its share of problems the past year or so, but the experience wasn't too bad. I did end up waiting an hour plus when the system didn't want to accept my leasing company. I never got upset though because since I used to be a state worker, I know the pettiness that the general public tends to spew towards them. Plus, I know they make jack to deal with the unwashed masses. $320 and close to an hour and a half later, I'm off to the tanning bed and to the gym. Yes, you heard that right. I ACTUALLY WENT TO THE GYM! I really do not know what my problem has been lately. The change in diet is working. I just need to get less busy and more motivated. Help me, London Preppy, you're my only hope. :)
Tuesday night, I meet up with Mom, Romeo, and HR to go see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at the new IMAX theater. The movie was pretty fantastic, but I cannot help but feel it is getting excessively dark and disturbing for the little ones...even more so than the books. Especially in the final battle, when you put on the IMAX 3D glasses, it was pretty intense. If you have an IMAX in your area, definitely go and see it that way.
After the movie, we drove to the Metro to meet up with Blanche for the usual night of Karaoke debauchery. I text Tyler to see if he'll stop by before he has to go to work, and he says he'll "try." After getting mildly inebriated on an empty stomach, I text him again, and he just texts back "sorry." Bleh, not happy. Then, I turn around, and there is the beautiful boy. :) It absolutely made my day, and after dragging him upstairs for somewhat private, public displays of affection. We hung out with the boys and Mom before he had to leave around 11 to go to work. After that, I was beaming like a schoolboy...my friends were laughing at me. :) Outside of seeing Tyler, the highlight of the night was drunken Blanche singing through "The Homecoming Queen's got a Gun."
When I got home, I had to watch Big Brother 8, and let me say I am THRILLED that Joe is up on the block. I hope Evil Dick is spared tonight, just so I don't have to listen to that braying queen anymore. A note about Jeneration, she may be an idiot, and she may not have the foresight to realize that bullying people now will screw her over shortly, but the working over of people to save her nominations was pretty brilliant. Yeah, she's absolute toast with whomever is HOH next, but it was a pretty ballsy/stupid move.
As I said before, Wednesday was pretty craptacular, but the evening made up for it. Tyler and I went out on our first real date. It's only been less than a week, but I can seriously see him being a major part of my existence. I'm trying not to be all lesbian here. I am seriously not planning on renting a U-haul anytime soon, but wow, he's really knocked this serial bachelor for a loop. We went to dinner at a Greek place near his house, and then we pretty much just talked the rest of the night. It was great. :) Ugh, I'm going soft. People read my blog for the cynical and sarcastic FitnessNerd...not for mushy rainbows and unicorns!

This is more gooey than I was willing to read. You should put warnings about the utter swooning at the top of the post.
I apologize. I still have to start the United Way annual report. So, be sure, I will be spewing bile very soon :)
